Uzbek ikat in European fashion

The peculiarity of ikat is that the warp threads are dyed before weaving to create a pattern during the weaving process. Dyeing is carried out with natural harmless dyes, cotton, silk and linen are used for weaving. All stages of production, starting with the loom, are carried out by hand. Weaving and clothing production are located in the Ferghana Valley on the territory of Uzbekistan.
