Uzbek ikat in European fashion
The peculiarity of ikat is that the warp threads are dyed before weaving to create a pattern during the weaving process. Dyeing is carried out with natural harmless dyes, cotton, silk and linen are used for weaving. All stages of production, starting with the loom, are carried out by hand. Weaving and clothing production are located in the Ferghana Valley on the territory of Uzbekistan. The product design is made in the spirit of current European fashion trends, where Belle Ikat brings elements of oriental charm from the region of the legendary Great Silk Road.
