Description
Beautiful uzbek adras
The ancient technology of manufacturing atlases and adras from silk fabrics from Uzbekistan is included in the UNESCO list of best practices for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage.
The historical center of these fabrics is the city of Margilan, located in the Fergana Valley. During a visit to Fergana, a working group made up of representatives of the State Tourism Development Committee and its regional branch visited the places where world-famous national textiles, atlases and adras are made by hand.
It should be noted that tourists who visit the Fergana region, in most cases, are interested in buying an atlas or adras, they are also interested in knowing the technique of making these ancestral fabrics.
Beautiful Uzbek adras contains 50% silk and 50% cotton.
